Hashrate to USD Calculator

Calculate Bitcoin mining revenue from your hashrate. Convert TH/s, PH/s, or EH/s to daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly earnings in BTC and USD.

Turn your hashrate into dollar signs.
Enter your mining power. See daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly revenue estimates.

Whether you're evaluating a new ASIC miner or estimating returns from a cloud mining contract, this calculator converts your hashrate into projected Bitcoin and USD earnings. We use live network data — current hashrate, difficulty, block reward, and BTC price — to give you the most accurate estimates possible.

How Mining Revenue Is Calculated

Mining revenue estimation follows a straightforward formula: your share of the total network hashrate determines your share of the total block rewards produced each day. Here's the breakdown:

Daily BTC = (Your Hashrate / Network Hashrate) × Block Reward × 144

144

Average number of blocks mined per day (1 block every ~10 minutes × 6 per hour × 24 hours).

Reward

Currently 3.125 BTC per block (post-4th halving in April 2024). This halves approximately every 4 years.

Ratio

Your hashrate as a fraction of total network hashrate determines the probability of your hardware mining a block.

Note: This is a theoretical estimate. Actual earnings vary due to luck, pool fees, mining difficulty changes, and BTC price fluctuations. The calculator does not account for electricity costs or hardware depreciation.

Factors Affecting Mining Earnings

Several variables influence how much you actually earn from mining. Understanding these helps set realistic expectations:

Electricity Costs

The largest ongoing expense for miners. Rates vary from $0.02/kWh (hydropower regions) to $0.15+/kWh (residential rates). NoxHash operates at $0.035/kWh in Kazakhstan.

Network Difficulty

Difficulty adjusts every 2,016 blocks (~2 weeks) to maintain a 10-minute block time. Rising difficulty means more hashrate is needed to earn the same rewards.

BTC Price Volatility

Your BTC earnings stay relatively stable, but their USD value swings with the market. A 50% price increase effectively doubles your USD revenue without changing your hashrate.

Pool Fees

Mining pools typically charge 1–3% of earnings. Solo mining avoids pool fees but produces highly variable income unless you have a massive hashrate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is hashrate and how is it measured?
Hashrate is the number of hash computations a miner can perform per second. It's measured in hashes per second (H/s) with common units being TH/s (terahash, 10^12), PH/s (petahash, 10^15), and EH/s (exahash, 10^18). A modern ASIC miner like the Antminer S21 produces about 200 TH/s.
How accurate are these earnings estimates?
The daily estimate is reasonably accurate under current conditions. However, weekly, monthly, and yearly projections assume constant difficulty, hashrate, and BTC price — which never happens in practice. Use longer timeframe estimates as rough guides, not guarantees.
What's the difference between TH/s, PH/s, and EH/s?
These are scale multipliers: 1 PH/s = 1,000 TH/s, and 1 EH/s = 1,000 PH/s = 1,000,000 TH/s. Individual ASIC miners operate in TH/s, mining farms in PH/s, and the total Bitcoin network in hundreds of EH/s.
Does this calculator account for electricity costs?
No, this calculator shows gross revenue only. To calculate profit, you need to subtract electricity costs, pool fees, and hardware depreciation. With NoxHash cloud mining, electricity and maintenance are included in the rental price — making profit calculation simpler.
